1918 World Series Original 3" x 4" Fenway Park Sepia Snapshot PSA Encapsulated Type 1 Authentic Photograph
Offered is a 3" x 4" sepia-toned photograph of the 1918 World Series at Boston's Fenway Park. As the stands fill with fans, Red Sox players are seen warming up along the first base line preparing to face the Chicago Cubs. Still pitching, this would be Babe Ruth's final World Series with the Red Sox when he went 2-0. The image has been trimmed thus sharpening the edges and corners, but shows minimal significant surface abrasions. A minor crease is visible at top right. The reverse remains clean with light album glue apparent and a simple blue stamp. Boston took the series 4-games-to-2.
