1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal Signed Fred Snodgrass (Autograph Only) PSA 7 NM
Fred Snodgrass played nine years in the Majors with the New York Giants and Boston Braves. The Giants everyday centerfielder from 1910-1915, "Snow" is unfortunately remembered for his routine fly-ball drop in the bottom of the 10th during the 1912 World Series against the Boston Red Sox, virtually handing the BoSox the series. Offered is a 1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal Fred Snodgrass PSA/DNA NM 7 Certified for the autograph only. Signed in black fountain pen "Fred C. Snodgrass – Giants" against a rich orange background on either side of his batting image. Rounded corners and minimal unobtrusive creases are visible, but this is a bright, beautiful card with a legendary centerfielder front and center.
