1909-11 T206 Piedmont Signed George McBride Card - PSA/DNA Authentic 7 NM
Offered is a 1909-11 T206 Piedmont back George McBride autographed card encased and certified by PSA/DNA with a NM 7 signature (Auto Grade Only). Appearing against a hunter green background, the Washington Senators shortstop stands ready for the next pitch, though he is much better known for his fielding ability than his hitting. This PSA/DNA encased card displays in Poor condition with multiple creases and edge and corner wear. However, the black signature of the McBride signed "G. F. McBride" has been graded NM 7 by PSA/DNA. The reverse shows consistent signs of aging with corner wear and minimal paper loss. This is a 110-plus-year-old artifact signed by arguably the best fielding shortstop in the American League during his time in the Majors.
