1950 Bowman Set with (223) Signed Cards Beckett BAS Pre-Certified w/1950 Bowman Jackie Robinson #22 PSA 4 VG-EX

The 1950 Bowman set consists of 252 cards of which 89% are signed (223 signed cards). For the first time, Bowman utilized full-color artwork for its card front display of a player surrounded by a thin white border. The set is anchored by Hall of Fame subjects Bob Feller (#6), George Kell (#8), Phil Rizzuto (#11), Warren Spahn (#19), Pee Wee Reese (#21), Larry Doby (#39), Bob Lemon (#40), Roy Campanella (#75)-unsigned, Duke Snider (#77), Ted Williams (#98), Early Wynn (#148) and Casey Stengel (217). Cards found in the low numbers (#'s 1-72) are the rarer of the 1950 Bowman issue and hold many of the Hall of Fame players. Variations can be found on the reverse of the final 72 cards (#'s 181-252), which were printed with and without the copyright line at the bottom of the card, the "without" version being the less common of the two.
