1934 Butterfinger Premiums R310 Babe Ruth BGS 4 VG-EX
The 1934 Butterfinger R310 Premiums once again feature two of the greatest players in history in Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig as the anchor cards. Highly desirable due to the remarkably clear photographs, this set holds Hall of Famers like Earl Averill, Joe Cronin, Dizzy Dean, Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott and the Waner brothers, among others, highlighting these 7-3/4" x 9-1/2" premiums. Printed on very thin paper stock (much thinner than the cardboard counterparts), high-grade examples from this set can be difficult to find giving the fragility. Offered is Babe Ruth graded 4 VG-EX by BGS due to the minor imperfections stemming from the delicate nature and nearly 100 years of storage. Toning and light wear are apparent at the corners with minimal unobtrusive abrasions on the obverse. The back shows slight toning.
