This outstanding 1933 Goudey #230 "King" Carl Hubbell offering has been signed by the Hall of Fame southpaw in bold fountain pen in the upper right quadrant. Displaying "7/8" signature strength, the card itself reveals a fine pitching image of the immortal Hubbell as he has most likely unleased another tantalizing screwball. The obverse side reveals fine "VG" aesthetics, with the several areas of paper loss on the verso's lower region rendered virtually negligible. Synonymous to this amazing scripted Goudey, "King Carl's" most incredible accomplishment will forever be his performance in the 1934 All-Star game when he fanned Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons and Joe Cronin in succession.
