This magnificent 1915 Cracker Jack Hughie Jennings PSA "Mint 9" offering merits the finest accolades from the most sophisticated enthusiasts with only four others at this "Mint" plateau and none are assessed higher on BOTH the PSA and SGC pop charts! Hobbyists will forever link Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings to the renowned "Eeyah" phrase he consistently shouted from the coaching box (it means "watch out" in Hawaiian), with many of his "E" and "T" cards utilizing his classic "Eeyah" body language pose. Before his legendary managerial stint with the Detroit Tigers, Jennings was the late 19th century shortstop star of the Baltimore Orioles. Along with fellow stars such as Keller, McGraw and Robinson, he played a major role in leading the Orioles to 3 consecutive pennants from 1894 1896, even batting .401 in a single season.

Yet, for all of his "on the field" accomplishments, he is still widely renowned for his managerial stint with the Detroit Tigers where he won three consecutive A.L. championships his first three years of managing (1907 1909).
