1910 E98 "Black Swamp" Harry Davis – Green Background (PSA NM 7)
The star 1st baseman for Connie Mack's Athletics the first decade of the 20th century, his clutch hitting helped Mack claim his first World Series title in the 1910 Fall Classic against John McGraw's N.Y. Giants. His superb representation on this historic E98 Black Swamp offering has merited it a PSA 7 assessment, with only 3 green background examples graded higher! Surely a card sporting mint-like surface aesthetics, we can only assume that the compromised centering/tilt prevents a higher grade.
