1910 E98 "Black Swamp" Fred Clarke - Red Background (PSA Mint 9)
The E98 "Black Swamp Find" in 2012 will forever be considered one of the hobby's foremost discoveries; with hoards of these typically condition sensitive candy cards found in "near mint" to "mint" condition in an Ohio attic. One of these highly coveted Hall of Famers is the popular Pittsburgh Pirates Fred Clarke, and presented here is his miraculous PSA Mint 9 Black Swamp E98 gem that joins only four other examples as the finest of its kind! Clarke ended his stellar 21 year career with a .312 lifetime batting average, playing for both the Louisville Colonels and Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition, he managed both those clubs from 1897 – 1915, racking up over 1,600 wins and serving as the immortal Honus Wagner's manager most of his career.

His incredible throwing pose is portrayed in sparkling blue and gray colored hues, set against an immaculate powder blue background.
