(LOT 9)
1966 Topps #500 Hank Aaron (PSA Gem Mint 10) - One of 3 Highest Graded Examples!

Approximately 1,650 Hank Aaron 1966 Topps cards have been handled by PSA with this remarkable offering joining only 2 other examples at the hallowed "Gem Mint 10" assessment! 1966 was a special season for the immortal Henry Aaron for, once again, he would lead the National League in both home runs and R.B.I.'s, the third and final time in his illustrious career that he would accomplish that extremely difficult feat.

Synonymous with that world-class achievement are the radiant aesthetics of this 1966 Topps blazer that has miraculously managed to retain all of its original pristine attributes. Aaron's classic portrait image emanates the finest possible clarity and contrast, and exhibits near-perfect centering between four blinding white borders. The flawless tranquil purple backgrounds for his name and "Braves" text project spectacular eye appeal, and the entire perimeter including all four corners is razor sharp.

The final compliment for this "spine-tingling" marvel are the immaculate surfaces that appear as if the card has just been pulled from a wax pack some 51 years ago. To reiterate, only 2 other PSA encapsulated copies have managed to achieve ultimate grading perfection, e keepsake, and we simply cannot imagine those specimens possibly equaling the extraordinary eye appeal of this museum worthy masterpiece!
