Ty Cobb Signed "CHARLES CONLON" Sliding Safely Photo 8"x5 1/4" PSA/DNA MINT 9

Ty Cobb and Charles Conlon have one thing in common. They were both legends in their own field. Legends to say the least where Cobb was ranked 3rd on the list of "Baseball's 100 Greatest Players" by the Sporting News. And Famed Baseball Photographer, Charles Conlon was most likely ranked in the Top 3 by his peers. It was the year 19110 where both Cobb and Conlon would meet.

On July 23, 1910, Sporting News photographer Charles Conlon snapped this classic shot of baseball legend Ty Cobb sliding into third base ahead of the tag by the New York Highlanders' Jimmy Austin. As the spraying dirt from the Hall of Famer's spikes-high slide reveals, Cobb played the game with reckless abandon and took no prisoners. Signed in a blue fountain tip pen along the left side of his picture, this definitely goes down as one of the most famous baseball images of ALL-TIME! PSA/DNA grades this photo a PSA/DNA MINT 9.
