c.1920s Babe Ruth Signing Baseballs PSA Type 1 Photo – Measures Approx. 9-1/2" x 7-1/2

BABE SIGNING BASEBALLS!!! This momentous offering portrays Babe Ruth signing a hoard of baseballs for his adoring fan base. While Ruth unquestionably stands as our National Pastime's greatest all-time player, he also resided as the undisputed king of the hill with regards to the number of baseballs he autographed throughout his storied career. Simply stated, the Bambino treasured his admiring fans, especially the young ones, who were totally captivated by this larger-than-life legend. It's said that Ruth virtually never denied an autograph seeker, and even his best friend, Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt clearly stated: "I must have seen Babe sign over 10,000 baseballs!" The photo itself depicts extraordinary contrast and clarity, with some surface discoloration, upper corner chips, stray wrinkles, and a miniscule vertical tear near the upper edge not impeding the critical central image that reveals Ruth about to sign 50 baseballs (yes, we counted all of them!) including the one in his hand that he was scripting at the exact moment this photo was taken. A remarkable heirloom from Ruth's early Yankee playing days, it serves as a sheer reminder of how this baseball immortal spent a countless number of hours providing his smitten followers with a Ruth memento they could cherish for years to come!
