CLASSIC TYRUS POSE!!! The 2012 Black Swamp Find revealed a host of high-grade E98s, creating one of the hobby's largest cardboard frenzies. E98 mania swept throughout the community, with all previously known E98 subjects likewise receiving serious attention. This PSA 2.5 GOOD+ 1910 E98 Ty Cobb just happens to boast the more elusive blue background, with most Black Swamp E98s revealing red or green settings. The classic Cobb fielding pose (likewise seen in a superimposed fashion on his E94 Close Candy issue) depicts sharp resolution and relatively fine centering. No unsightly blemishes are evident, with the assessment due to even corner wear and border toning, especially along the lower right edge. One of the Georgia Peach's most coveted "E" cards, it was issued the season Cobb would pace the AL in batting a fourth successive campaign, with his .382 mark one of an incomparable 16 times the fiery Motor City outfielder would post a .350 or higher average in his unparalleled 24-year career!
