CUBAN VIOLA!!! Juan Violá was one of the first Cuban players ever to play in the United States. By all accounts, the 1909-11 T206 Juan Violat is instead Juan Violá who played seven seasons with the Jacksonville Jays of the South Atlantic League (1904-11). His best years came in 1913 when he hit .349 with 131 base knocks with the Long Branch Cubans and 1914 batting .420 notching 108 hits including 26 doubles.
