Pair of Elston Howard Signed Cards - 1959 Topps #395 and 1966 Topps #405 - Both PSA/DNA Authentic
Elston Howard, who played in both the Negro Leagues and Major League Baseball from 1948 to 1968, is best known for his time with the New York Yankees. A 12-time All-Star, Howard also contributed to the Kansas City Monarchs and the Boston Red Sox. His life was tragically cut short at the age of 51 on December 14, 1980. This lot features two signed cards: his 1959 Topps #395 and his 1966 Topps #405. Howard, a dedicated patriot who served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War with the Special Services Unit, is commemorated through these excellent autographed cards.
