In the late-1920s, Babe Ruth was arguably the most recognizable sports figure in the entire world and the best player in baseball. Despite his considerable fame, his generosity knew no bounds. The Babe seemed to sign virtually anything that an adoring fan held in front of him. This absolutely stunning single-signed baseball is one such piece. This carefully stored sphere displays the Official American League and E.S. Barnard stampings from his 1927-1931 tenure as AL President and features the Bambino's black fountain pen signature prominently penned across the sweet spot.

Still displaying incredibly well-kept and unfrayed or unblemished red and blue stitching, this horsehide relic presents superbly with both ball and signature easily assessed as 8 NM-MT by PSA/DNA. This remarkably well-preserved baseball artifact offered in Near-Mint to Mint condition with full Letters of Authenticity included from PSA/DNA and James Spence. It would seem that with every passing auction a Babe Ruth ball is offered, but we are hard-pressed to recall another Babe Ruth signed baseball, signed during his playing days, that is quite as remarkable as this astonishingly beautiful and untouched creamy white baseball of the greatest player in history!
