(LOT 1666)
2012 Detroit Tigers Miguel Cabrera Game-Used Signed and Inscribed Base and GEM MINT 10 Full Ticket from his 300th Home Run Game in his Triple Crown Season BGS Authentic

GREATEST TIGER EVER?!!!... Miguel Cabrera's Major League debut offered a glimpse into what the baseball world was set to witness over the next 21 years as he launched a walk-off home run in his first game with the Florida Marlins. It was his only hit of the game. Cabrera helped lead the Marlins to the World Series championship that season. Miggy played five seasons with the Marlins before being traded to the Detroit Tigers, where he forever left his mark on baseball. Over 16 seasons in the Motor City, Cabrera collected 2,332 hits, including 444 doubles and 373 homers, with a .304 batting average. In 2021, he eclipsed the 500-home run mark and in 2022 he surpassed 3,000 hits. Cabrera's greatest year came in 2012 when he became the 17th man in history to win the Triple Crown batting .330 with 44 home runs and 139 RBIs.

Miggy nabbed his first of two straight AL MVP awards that season. He ultimately retired after the 2023 season with 3,174 hits, including 511 home runs, and drove in 1,881 runs. Offered here is a July 22, 2012 Detroit Tigers Full Ticket and Autographed Base from Miggy's 300th home run game during his Triple Crown season. This absolutely perfect full ticket has been encapsulated GEM MINT 10 by Beckett. The Detroit Tigers logoed game-used base shows heavy game usage with Cabrera autographed at left on top in black Sharpie and the inscription "300th Home Run – 7/22/2012" in black (both "7-8" strength due to soiling and textured surface). This is an incredible duo commemorating one of the greatest hitters in Tigers history and first ballot Hall of Famer, Miguel Cabrera. Beckett Authenticated.
