1972 Topps Complete Set with 9 PSA-Graded and Wax Wrapper
The 1972 Topps Baseball set consists of 787 cards, the largest issue to-date, featuring rookies like Don Baylor, Cecil Cooper, Carlton Fisk and J.R. Richard, to name a few. This set, overall, has a very fresh appearance with the main reason for any downgrading being due to slight centering issues, with a few exceptions. Overall, the offered set remains NM with many of the cards appearing NM-MT or better. Graded cards are as follows: PSA 9: 600 Kaline; and PSA 8: 49 Mays, 79 Fisk RC, 150 Cash, 299 Aaron, 435 Jackson, 559 Rose, 595 Ryan and 695 Carew. Ungraded key issues include #s: 1 Pirates Team (EX to EX-MT), 37 Yastrzemski (NM), 300 Aaron IA (EX to EX-MT), 309 Clemente (EX-MT), 310 Clemente IA (EX), 433 Bench (NM), 445 Seaver (EX), 560 Rose IA (EX), 686 Garvey (NM), 751 Carlton TR (VG-EX) and 754 F.
