(LOT 113)
Pair of 1986 NBA Playoffs Game 2 Ticket Stubs - Jordan Playoff Record 63 Points - Both PSA-Graded

RECORD-SETTING GAME!!! One of the four 1986 NBA Eastern Conference first-round series featured the Larry Bird-led Boston Celtics against Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls. Despite Michael Jordan leading all scorers by a significant margin with 131, the closest shooters were Bird and Kevin McHale at 85 each, MJ, Charles Oakley, John Paxson and George Gervin were unable to overcome the high-powered Celtics, losing in a three-game sweep. But, His Airness did not go down without a fight, as he posted 63 points in the double-overtime Game 2 loss, eclipsing Elgin Baylor's record of 61 set in 1962 (also against the Celtics). Presented here is a pair of 1986 NBA Playoff Game 2 ticket stubs graded and encapsulated 7 NM and 5 EX by PSA. Each stub displays "1986 – Play-Off Game at Boston Garden" with an alarmingly cheap $17 price tag. You'd be lucky to buy a beer with that in 2023. Displaying wonderful "game use" as if carefully stuffed deep into a fan's pocket, this pair of ticket stubs were from side-by-side seats in the 1st Balcony. What a great pair of artifacts from a record-setting NBA game for the G.O.A.T.!
