1909-11 T206 Jack Chesbro Sweet Caporal 350/30 PSA 8 NM-MT

HAPPY JACK!!! In 1904, Jack Chesbro of the New York Highlanders won an astonishing 41 games to 12 losses, setting the record for most wins in a season by an American League pitcher. Chesbro's 41 victories is the most since the turn of the 20th century, with numerous others having eclipsed the mark in the 1800s. Over 11 seasons with three clubs, Happy Jack posted a 198-132 record with 1,265 strikeouts and a 2.68 ERA. Offered is his 1909-11 T206 Jack Chesbro Sweet Caporal 350/30 PSA 8 NM-MT. This classic Carl Horner portrait pose against an olive-green background, contrasting the impeccable facial hues. Dazzling white borders, four precision cut corners, sharp edging and super clean surfaces complete this miraculous tobacco offering that appears to have just been pulled from a pack of Sweet Caporals. This highest graded of the only 17 graded in the 350/30 variation, this Jack Chesbro from 115 years ago deserves heavy consideration to upgrade even the finest T206 gathering.
