HOF HANK!!! By 1970, Henry Aaron had cemented his place in Cooperstown, posting a .313 career batting average, 3,110 hits, 1,806 runs, 592 home runs and 1,842 RBIs, not to mention 233 stolen bases. But Hammerin' Hank played an additional six seasons, surpassed the great Babe Ruth's 714 home run total, finishing with 755, and collected 455 more RBIs to set the all-time record for "ribbies" with 2,297, a record that stands today, 47 years later. A veritably flawless career. Speaking of flawless, this 1971 Topps #400 Hank Aaron PSA 9 MINT example is virtually untouched as well. Historically, the 1971 black-bordered cards can fall victim to flaking, chipping and just general wear given their high condition sensitivity. However, not here. Aaron is perfectly framed within four pitch-black borders, presenting razor-sharpness at the edges and corners. Superb color and crystal-clear imagery coupled with pack-fresh surfaces make this an upgrade card to be sure.
