AC/DC Signed High Voltage LP with Bon Scott, Evans, A. Young, M. Young and Rudd PSA/DNA LOA
Once the Australian rock band AC/DC completed its lineup with new lead singer Bon Scott, they headed to the studio to produce their first album High Voltage. Consisting of Malcolm (rhythm guitar) and Angus Young (lead guitar), Mark Evans (bass) and Phil Rudd (drums), AC/DC rocked Australia, building a loyal following and worldwide notoriety. In 1975, AC/DC's debut release, High Voltage, exclusively released in Australia, reached #14 on the charts and was soon followed by their second LP T.N.T. Offered is a vintage 1975 High Voltage LP with the jacket signed in blue ballpoint by Malcolm, Angus, Phil, Mark and Bon Scott at center with a "Happy Birthday Betty" salutation. At the top of the album cover is the inscription "To Betty – Happy Birthday – Love and *17* From Steve" and the date "4 May '75". Still in good condition with expected usage and display wear evident overall, this is a rare piece of rock and roll history given Scott's untimely and tragic death from alcohol poisoning in 1980.
