Dave Bartosch; A Professional Major League Baseball Scout who played briefly in the majors for the Cardinals in 1945 then became a scout. He retired from the St Louis Cardinals' organization and moved to California where he became a scout for the San Diego Padres until he retired at 75 years old. Bartosch died April 20, 2006.
