1965 World Series - Sandy Koufax Exits Game Two – PSA Type 1 Encapsulated Minneapolis Tribune Photo – Measures Approx. 8" x 10"

1965 FALL CLASSIC!!! Here's one you don't see very often! This PSA Type 1 Game Two 1965 World Series photo depicts a dejected Sandy Koufax walking to the dugout after yielding two runs to Minnesota in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie. Although the Twins would go on to best Sandy 5-1 at Metropolitan Field to grab a commanding 2-0 series lead, the iconic Koufax would exact his revenge in captivating fashion by shutting out Minnesota in Game Five and Seven to lead the Dodgers to a world championship. Issued by the Minneapolis Tribune, this 8" x 10" dandy has retained the majority of its original attributes, with several stampings on the verso including the October 7, 1965 date. It serves as a vivid reminder that even the best of the best can be beaten on any given day, including the seemingly invincible Sandy Koufax!
