1961 Fleer #36 Oscar Roberston Rookie PSA 8 NM-MT

"BIG O" ROOKIE!!! Along with Russell, Jordan, Chamberlain, Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James, Oscar Robertson proudly resides as one of the greatest players in NBA history. His lifetime statistics solidify his iconic standing, with the Big O averaging an unfathomable 25.7 points, 9.5 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game! For 14 seasons with the Royals and Bucks, he dominated the hardwood floor as well as or better than most of his peers. Dubbed the king of the triple double, he was the first basketball player to miraculously average a triple double for an entire season (‘61 campaign: 30.8 points; 11.4 assists; 12.5 rebounds).

The 12-time all-star point guard won his only MVP award in 1964, claimed six NBA assist titles and won an NBA championship in 1971 with the Milwaukee Bucks. This breathtaking 1961 Fleer PSA 8 NM-MT Rookie offering portrays a virtually immaculate Oscar Robertson image, highlighted by brilliant orange and maroon red hues that literally jump off the card. While the classic illustration does favor the upper left edges, the pinpoint corners, world-class image and impeccable surfaces more than offset the off-positioning, with this Robertson marvel destined to be a main attraction in any esteemed rookie card compilation!
