Ty Cobb Signed Cancelled Check PSA/DNA Encapsulated
Ty Cobb has signed this cancelled check in his popular, customary green ink. Withdrawn from Cobb's account with First National Bank of Nevada, he writes this check out to "PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC CO." for $10.34 on March 3rd, 1953. Money to keep the lights on! The Georgia Peach spent 22 seasons with the Detroit Tigers. 17 years earlier, Cobb would join the inaugural class, being inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, garnering 222 of the 226 votes, making him the only player to achieve this highest percentage until Tom Seaver was inducted in 1992, who garnered 98.8% of the votes at that time. A great check to add to your Baseball Hall of Fame check collection.
