Dated September 6th, 1929, this is a Uniform Agreement for the assignment of a player's contract to or by a Major League Club signed by Hall of Famer Branch Rickey. Rickey was 39 years old when he made it clear on September 5th, 1929, that he won't pay anything above $5,000 to assume the contract of Houston Baseball Club player Joe Hunt. Comes with a JSA Auction LOA. A great signature of the man who helped break the color barrier when he signed a minor league contract on August 28th, 1945.
