1957 Topps Football Wax Pack 5-Cent GAI 8.5 NM-MT+
1957 WAX!!! The 1957 Topps Football set was issued in two series, with an 88-card 1st Series and 66-card high-number 2nd Series. The latter featured the "big three" rookie editions: #119 Bart Starr, #138 Johnny Unitas and #151 Paul Hornung. The offered unopened Series 2 wax pack, though mistakenly mislabeled 1st Series by Global, has been graded an 8.5 NM-MT+ from GAI. This colorful high-grade six-card, 5-Cent wax pack does show signs of wear at the upper left corner with a minor tear, though the reverse seal remains intact. Imagine the potential that this unopened wax from the '57 Topps issue could house. So many rookies from this amazing set could be included here!
