TEDDY BALLGAME!!! One of the post-WWII's classic sets is the 1959 Fleer Ted Williams 80-card treasure, which provides an abundance of classic Teddy Ballgame images from his illustrious career. By 1959, Williams had established himself as baseball's arguable greatest all-time hitter, with the Kid ultimately retiring after the following 1960 campaign. Fleer paid a grand tribute to the iconic Ted with this highly coveted gathering, with the most valuable #68 subject (Jan. 23, 1959 - Ted Signs for 1959) boasting a PSA 8 NM-MT assessment. All other cards were graded as follows: #1 GAI 8 NM-MT, #2 GAI 8 NM-MT, #4 SGC 8 NM-MT, #9 GAI 8.5 NM-MT+, #13 SGC 9 MINT, #29 BVG 8 NM-MT, #80 BVG 8.5 NM-MT+ with the remainder of the cards being graded PSA 8 NM-MT.
