PSA 10 PISTOL PETE!!! The 1972-73 Icee Bear basketball set is one of the most popular and eclectic basketball card sets of the 1970s. Containing 20 cards, this set is focused on multiple stars and future Hall of Famers, including Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, John Havlicek, Oscar Robertson and the incomparable PETE MARAVICH. These cards were given away with each purchase of an Icee Bear Slurpee (the reverse of each card features a cartoon image of the Icee Bear with a basketball and Slurpee in hand). Maravich was widely considered one of the great ball handlers in NBA history, and he is still the all-time leading NCAA Division I scorer with 3,667 points and an average of 44.2 points per game. Additionally, four of the cards are known to be Short Prints, such as Austin Carr, Archie Clark, Walt Frazier and this ever-popular PETE MARAVICH.
