(LOT 1255)
1965 Topps #133 Fred Biletnikoff Rookie PSA 8 NM-MT

TWICE DRAFTED!!! In 1965, Fred Biletnikoff was drafted by the Oakland Raiders of the AFL and the Detroit Lions of the NFL. Choosing the Raiders and the AFL, Doctor Zhivago (for his Russian descent) helped lead Oakland to Super Bowl II, which pitted the top AFL team against the NFL's best. Biletnikoff was one of the most solid and dependable receivers of his time and was among the league leaders in receptions. In 1976, he helped lead the Raiders to a Super XI victory over the Minnesota Vikings and was named Super Bowl XI MVP. Offered is a 1965 Topps #133 Fred Biletnikoff graded 8 NM-MT by PSA. The color here is tremendous, with Biletnikoff's image leaping from the card out of the spot-on centering and snow-white borders. A razor-sharp perimeter and pinpoint corners make this 8 NM-MT one to consider. Awesome!
