YANKEE GREAT ROOKIE!!! In 1951, New York's Gil McDougald narrowly edged Chicago's Minnie Minoso for the AL Rookie of the Year award. McDougald would spend ten glorious years in the Bronx winning five World Series. The six-time All-Star was key to the success of the Mantle/Berra-led Yankees in the early '50s. Offered is a 1952 Topps #394 McDougald in a PSA 8 holder. A handful graded higher than this NM-MT 8 of Yankee great on his rookie card. One to own from 1952.
