This 1933 photo of Primo Carnera, measuring 8" x 6", as the Heavyweight Champion of the World shows off the muscular physique that made him such an intimidating force in the ring. Condition is VERY nice and the artistic enhancements really make it stand out. Carnera is one of the most popular champions of his era, and this is the nicest and most intriguing image of him we have ever offered. On the reverse is a paper caption describing the photo with stamps from Acme and NEA. This photo was used for his 1933 Sport Kings card. Encapsulated Authentic by PSA as a Type 1 photograph.
