1956 Topps #31 Hank Aaron Gray Back PSA 9 MINT - Highest PSA Graded Example!

BEST OF THE BEST AARON!!! Presented here is an absolutely breathtaking PSA 9 MINT 1956 Topps #31 Hank Aaron Gray Back marvel that has only been joined by five other examples as the finest of its kind! Indeed, synonymous to Hammerin' Hank's 755 homer record, of the 2,300+ PSA encapsulated copies, not a single specimen has managed to achieve the perfect 10 assessment. One of the four greatest right-handed hitters in baseball history, along with Hornsby, Foxx and Pujols, Aaron still holds MLB records for lifetime RBIs (2,297) and Total Bases (6,856). By 1956, he had certainly established himself as one of the game's formidable sluggers, belting 27 round-trippers and knocking in over 100 runs during his stellar 1955 season. The Topps Gum Co. represented the Milwaukee Braves slugging outfielder with a classic 1956 subject that, similar to his 1955 issue, included a spellbinding portrait and sliding into home plate poses. Certainly not deviating from our esteemed consignor's typical cherry picking selection process, the virtually perfectly centered image resides between four blinding white borders. Pack-fresh, to say the least, both Aaron images appear as if they are about to jump off the card, courtesy of their sparkling hues and crystal-clear clarity. Pinpoint corners, brilliant surfaces and an immaculate gray back are the final exclamation points for this seemingly pristine prize that, tantamount to Hank Aaron's pinnacle baseball stature, shares the spotlight with a handful of examples as the best of the rest!
