1948 Bowman Basketball Near Set (71/72) with Mikan PSA Auth
The offered 1948 Bowman Basketball set is missing only Andy Phillip (card #9) for completion, and while this is not a high-grade or even a mid-grade set, it does give the avid Basketball card collector the chance at acquiring the Godfather of all basketball card issues without having to take out a second mortgage. Most of the cards appear to have been cut off of sheets outside the confines of the Bowman facilities and nearly half of the cards, including the George Mikan rookie card and most of the high-numbered cards, have varying degrees of vintage scotch tape residue. Those faults aside, this is a great opportunity to add one of the most legendary sets to your collection. Overall condition is visually POOR to VG.
