1963 Topps Baseball Complete Set - PSA-Graded and Ungraded
Offered here is a 1963 Topps Baseball complete set of PSA-graded and ungraded. The 1963 Topps Baseball issue is as compelling for its player selection as it is the design. Dissimilar in design to all sets that predated it, the 1963 Topps set is one of the most striking sets produced with immaculate portraits and smaller inset images of the greats of the day with vibrant colored nameplates that pique the interest of the most aloof collectors among us. To say that the '63s are favored by collectors would be a massive understatement.

This offered 1963 set is a visual anomaly and appears to have been built from "Presentation Set" cards or from "vending"; either way, they don't seem to show the typical signs of handling with the main reason for any downgrading being for reasons of centering or print. Included are 34 PSA-graded examples in this complete set as follows: one PSA 8.5 - #412; 11 PSA 8s - #s 228 Rookie Stars (Oliva), 242, 252, 275 Mathews, 315, 400 F. Robinson, 440 Marichal, 443, 522, 529 & 550 Snider; one PSA 8 (OC) - #200 Mantle; one PSA 7.5 - #472 Brock; eight PSA 7s - #s 63 Yastrzemski, 138, 210 Koufax, 247 Yankees Team, 250 Musial, 473, 495 & 553 Stargell RC; eight PSA 6s - #s 18, 25 Kaline, 60, 120 Maris, 173 Bombers' Best, 300 Mays, 446 Ford & 537 Rookie Stars – Rose; four PSA 5s - #s 1 NL Batting Ldrs., 2 AL Batting Ldrs., 520 Cepeda & 540 Clemente. The overall grade on the ungraded cards appears to be EX-MT to NM+ with about 10% being lesser.
