(LOT 2)
Outstanding Jackie Robinson Signed 1947-66 "Rookie Era" #193 Exhibit – Beckett 9 MINT Auto Grade!

SIGNED JACKIE EXHIBIT!!!...Along with the renowned 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson rookie card, the 1947-66 Jackie Exhibit subject also resides as one of his rookie-era keepsakes issued during the 1948 campaign. With that in mind, presented here is one of the most significant of all Robinson signed cards, the aforementioned 1948 exhibit card portraying a spectacular blue ink pen "Jackie Robinson" autograph.

Authenticated and encapsulated by the prestigious Beckett Company, the legendary script has justifiably been assigned a 9 MINT assessment, and arguably resides as the finest aesthetically pleasing signed 1947-66 Jackie Robinson exhibits extant. The "MADE IN U.S.A." text situated near the lower right edge measures approximately 5/8", consistent with its 1948 distribution date versus a 1947 distribution that would include a 1/2" "MADE IN USA" caption. The colossal 1947-1966 Exhibit compilation consists of roughly 336 subjects, and as is the case with virtually all post-WWII sets, one of the set's most sought-after subjects is the incomparable Jackie Robinson.

Synonymous with Robinson's unparalleled stature as the player who broke the MLB color barrier, this amazing gem joins a handful of other Beckett examples and 12 PSA specimens as one of Jackie's highly coveted signed rookie-era cards. Scripted Jackie cards are currently taking off in value like an uncontrollable tsunami, with three momentous sales for signed Jackie Robinson issues being (1) a 1949 Bowman fetching $96K in 2022; (2) a 1955 Topps realizing $60K in 2023; and (3) a 1952 Topps selling for a staggering $216K, likewise this year. The autographed 1948 Robinson Exhibit card has always been significantly undervalued, and while they are certainly trending upwards, their ultimate investment potential knows no bounds due to Jackie's godly stature as our National Pastime's inaugural African-American player.

Condition wise, this esteemed offering presents itself in VG fashion, revealing a breathtaking "Robinson running the bases" central image including the world-class "Jackie Robinson" 9 MINT blue ink signature. The only negligible flaws worthy of mention is even corner wear, some diminutive chipping along the edges, and a diagonal crease near the upper left quadrant. A bona fide signed Jackie Robinson 1948 baseball exhibit, it resides as the perfect testament for his awe-inspiring courage that will truly echo for eternity!
