1953 Bowman Color #31 Jimmy Dykes PSA 9 MINT
MACK SUCCESSOR!!! By 1953, two-time World Series champion Jimmy Dykes had long since retired from playing and was now the Philadelphia Athletics new skipper. After the 1950 season, Dykes replaced 50-year manager Connie Mack at the helm of the A's; some enormous shoes to fill to be sure. Offered is a 1953 Bowman Color #31 of the budding manager in his third and final year as skipper. This amazing card possesses all of the expected features of a 9 MINT example with sharp corners, brilliant imagery and excellent color. This is one of only a 14 at this highest graded level according to PSA's Pop Report.
