Macauley led the St. Louis University Billikens to the NIT championship in 1948 and took the St. Louis Hawks to the NBA championship ten years later teaming with Bob Pettit and Cliff Hagan, among others, to take down the heavily favored Boston Celtics. The Hawks '58 victory kept the Celtics from capturing 10-straight NBA titles. This Easy Ed Rookie is one of only three graded at this highest level with zero 10s ever being assessed according to PSA. This smiling Macauley reveals vivid imagery with pristine surfaces, both front and back. This one is top of the pops for the best of 1957 Topps Basketball collections.
