First Day Cover Signed by Duke Snider/Willie Mays/Mickey Mantle PSA/DNA Authentic AUTO
NY CENTER FIELDERS!!! Arguably, and with all due respect to Joe DiMaggio, these were the three greatest center fielders in New York history and they all played at the same time. Duke Snider (Dodgers), Willie Mays (Giants) and Mickey Mantle (Yankees). All playing during the span of 1951-1964, this trio hit 1,255 home runs and drove in 3,696 runs. Mantle and Mays were separated by one home run during this span and only eight RBIs in favor of Mantle for each. Amazing! Offered is a First Day Cover featuring the three center fielders, each signed in black ballpoint in the front ("8-9" strength) dated Jan 14, 1989. PSA/DNA has encased this virtually untouched FDC as Authentic. Only the lightest aging tones are apparent on the reverse and slightly on the front due to glue degradation. What a power-hitter threesome this was!
