(LOT 1903)
1932 U.S. Caramel #9 Gene Sarazen PSA 8 NM-MT

LOW POP GOLF LEGEND!!! Gene Sarazen (February 27, 1902 - May 13, 1999) was a Professional golfer. He is one of five golfers (along with Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods) to win all the current major championships in his career, the Career Grand Slam: U.S. Open in 1922, 1932, PGA Championship in 1922, 1923, 1933, British Open in 1932, and The Masters in 1935. Offered here is one of only five copies at this tier with only a pair graded higher by PSA. A pack-fresh and barely circulated tribute to an era's great professional. This example delivers blazing color and a choice image. One to own!
