1909 T206 Cy Young Cleveland "Bare Hand Shows" Sweet Caporal 150/30 PSA 2.5 Good+
Author of 511 victories, Cy Young's incredible mark still stands at the top of the charts with regard to what is considered baseball's most unbreakable record. To place that "511" figure in perspective, a pitcher would need to win 20 games per year for 25 years to reach 500 victories, and they would still be 11 wins short of Young's record! One of Cy's most coveted cardboard keepsakes is his 1909 T206 "Bare Hand Shows" subject that is presented here in a super eye pleasing PSA 2.5. Including a Sweet Caporal 150 Subjects/Factory 30 verso, it fell slightly short of the "3" assessment due to rounded corners and a diminutive surface abrasion near his right armpit barely noticeable to the naked eye. Fortunately, Young's well centered classic pitching pose includes strikingly rich hues gray, yellow and green hues as well as stellar resolution, the bona fide highlights of this timeless marvel!
