(LOT 874)
"Unique for the Grade" 1958 Topps #22 Hal Naragon PSA 10 GEM MINT - "POP 1"; The SOLE Highest Graded Example!

Presented here is a barn-burner for any meticulous PSA Set Registry collector! This absolutely miraculous PSA 10 GEM MINT 1958 Topps #22 Hal Naragon offering just happens to stand alone at the summit of the PSA "Pop" Chart! A bona fide "POP 1" masterpiece, it has left its approximate 260 peers in the dust, somehow surviving the past 64 years in its original pack-fresh state. Catcher Hal Naragon opened his MLB career on September 23, 1951 with the Cleveland Indians and played on their 1954 A.L. pennant-winning club. He eventually retired after the 1962 campaign with Minnesota, and while he will never be inducted in baseball's HOF, this breathtaking marvel truly merits Cooperstown cardboard status vis its unique "10" assessment. His brilliant left-handed batting pose reveals rich facial hues and a radiant yellow background, encompassed by four dazzling white borders. Atypical near-perfect centering, a gleaming obverse side surface, pinpoint corners and super clean verso are the final compliments for this "best of the rest" Naragon heirloom that is no ordinary common!
