Chuck Foreman Early To Mid-1970s Minnesota Vikings Signed Game-Used Home Mesh Jersey PSA COA
Chuck Foreman's rushing production (5,950 yards) is arguably impressive, but his real value was his ability run and catch out of the backfield as witnessed by his 350 receptions for 3,156 yards and 23 additional receiving TDs, making him one of the most complete backs of the era. This purple mesh jersey features double ply shoulder yokes, and a full complement of Vikings sleeve striping, despite the custom hemmed edges. Foreman's #44 appears in screened on applique while the NOB is classic '70s Vikings sewn-on, plain block, white tackle-twill atop a purple knit plate. The plate is original and unrestored. The jersey tail exhibits dual Sand Knit, early '70s tagging, denoting "Vikings' NFC exclusivity" and size 46. The wear is solid with a few small repairs and multiple turf burns and dings, particularly to the right shoulder. Foreman has signed the jersey back which has been authenticated by PSA/DNA.
