1964 Diamond Dinner Program Signed by 24 Players with 10 Hall of Famers Including Koufax & Hartnett
The Chicago Diamond Dinner was an annual event held and produced in Chicago honoring "baseball's greatest athletes and executives". Offered here is a multi-signed 1964 Diamond Dinner, held on January 12 at the illustrious Palmer House, honoring the day's baseball heroes like Sandy Koufax, Stan Musial and Warren Spahn as well as the "All-Time Cubs-Sox Team" which included Hall of Famers Joe McCarthy (Mgr.), Luke Appling, Gabby Hartnett, Red Faber and Ted Lyons, to name a few. The white program is still in excellent condition, save for the bluish ink ghosting visible on front and back, though all 24 signatures on the reverse are easily legible in blue ink and at 8-9 strength.
