1970 Topps #25 Jan Stenerud Rookie PSA 10 GEM MINT
ROOKIE 10!!! Jan Stenerud was the first Norwegian-born player in the NFL and still remains in the top-20 all-time NFL points scored, a statistic dominated by placekickers through the ages. Until 2017 when Morten Andersen earned induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Stenerud, a former ski jumper turned placekicker, was the only placekicker enshrined in Canton. His 1,699 point was second only to George Blanda's 2.002 at the time of his retirement. His soccer style of place kicking revolutionized the position to which very few if any kickers don't use today. Stenerud was a member of the Super Bowl IV champion Kansas City Chiefs scoring nine of their 23 points in their first NFL championship in franchise history. Offered here is a 1970 Topps #25 Jan Stenerud PSA 10 GEM MINT. This extraordinary example is one of a paltry seven example achieving this highest of all grades!
