RARE ROBBY!!! One of the earliest Jackie Robinson issues is the 1948 Old Gold Cigarettes postcard sized issue that was distributed with two different poses including the "Kneeling in Dugout" and "Catching Ball" subjects. Presented here is the ultra-popular "Kneeling in Dugout" pose in a PSA 4 holder, one of only nine. Significantly rarer than the iconic 1948 Leaf Robinson, it was likewise issued in 1948, the year after Jackie & Branch Rickey courageously teamed up to break baseball's seemingly impermeable "Color Barrier" that would change America's Pastime and our Nation forever!
