Boston Red Sox legend Fred Lynn excelled at every level winning batting titles in Little League, Pony League and high school and then helped lead the USC Trojans to the College World Series titles in 1971, '72 and '73. After being drafted by the Red Sox in the 1973 Junior Amateur Draft, he added two more notches to his belt with American League Rookie of the Year and AL MVP honors in 1975 after leading the league in runs (103), doubles (47), slugging (.566) and OPS (.967) while batting .331 for the BoSox. He also won his first of four Gold Gloves and one of nine All-Star elections. The only title eluding Boston's beloved centerfielder was a World Series.
