SWEET-SWINGING BILLY!!! At 21, Billy Williams joined a Chicago Cubs team that boasted a lineup featuring Ernie Banks and future stars Ron Santo and Fergie Jenkins. In 1961, Williams hit .278 with 25 home runs and 86 RBIs to run away with the National League Rookie of the Year Award. Billy Williams was a solid outfielder who earned his place in Cooperstown with a .290 BA, 2,711 hits including 426 HRs and 1,475 career RBIs over 18 seasons. Offered here is his 1969 Topps #450 Billy Williams PSA 10 GEM MT, well worthy of his Hall of Fame status. This absolutely perfect '69 Topps shows a clear Williams, Sweet Swinging away.
