Circa-1934 Babe Ruth Tour of Japan Original Type 1 Photo PSA/DNA
RIDING THE PINE!!! Most certainly a term unfamiliar to the great Babe Ruth who we see here sitting on the bench awaiting his turn at bat in Yokohama, Japan during his famed Tour of Japan in 1934. The offered circa-1934 PSA-authenticated Type 1 photograph measures 5" x 7" and shows the Babe sitting alongside what appears to be half of Charlie Gehringer to his left and a Tour staff member to his right. The image clearly shows Ruth ready to step to the plate with his bat against his leg, and presents no obtrusive signs of wear though the edges and corners reveal minimal signs of aging and tone.
